Chasing Vermeer
One night, three mysterious letters were sent out to three intellegent people around the world. The letters were anonymous, with no return address or signature. The three people were very confused and scared. The letters were asking for help to identify a crime. The letters say that if the receivers report the letters their lives will be in danger. The three people were chosen by the sender for their intelligence and ability to think outside the box. The letters were asking them to step out of their comfort zones, but they didn't have to respond. The three receivers were very confused and unsure of what to do. Many strange events occur and you will just have to read the book to fin out!
Chasing Vermeer is by Blue Balliet and illustrated by Brett Helquist. It is very descriptive and detailed. It also has greAt illustrations that help start a movie in my head. After one hour of reading, I was attached. The author has such a creative style of writing. Once you start reading you will not be able to stop! I totally recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries. I found this book on Ms. Tabors bookshelf. Blue Balliet is an amazing author and I hope you read the book!

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You
I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You is a great book by Ally Carter. I got it from Mrs Tabors bookshelf and I love it. I am on about chapter 5 and I'm already attached. This book is about a teenage girl named Cammie's who goes to The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women. This is a school for very intellegente girls with advanced talents. It is a school for spies where they learn amazing things such as martial arts and how to hack the CIA. Cammie can do many things such as speak 14 languages, but she has run into a problem. There is a boy she likes, but she doesn't know how to show it. She can't tell him who she really is, a spy. You will have to read to find out what happens! Ally Carter does a great job pulling the reader in. She is a very descriptive writer, and I feel like there is a movie in my head. This is a great and very well written book and I totally recommend it!
Sequins, Secrets, and Silver Linings
Sequins, Secrets, and Silver Linings is a book by Sophia Bennett. It is about three fabulous best friends that live in London. Nonie, the main character, is obsessed with fashion. Jenny is a starlet, she just finished filming a small role in a Hollywood movie. Edie is super smart and intellectual. The three besties meet a girl named Crow, who really surprises them. She is a fashion designer who turns the girls' world upside down. Crow surprises Nonie, Jenny, and Edie with a lot of fun things and creative ideas. They learn a lot from her while exploring new things and facing challenges.
This book is great and really entertaining. It is fun to hear about Nonie, Jenny, and Edie's stories. It is interesting how they are all so different but still best friends. Sophia Bennett does a great job of describing the characters and what is going on in the story. Overall, I think this is a great book and I totally recommend it!

SCAT
I just finished reading a book called Scat by Carl Hiaasen. It is a mystery and I highly recommend for some one who like suspenseful books. When I started reading it I was attached, I couldn't put it down. I know a book is going to be good if I get attached so easily. It is a about two friends named Nick and Marta. One day their teacher randomly goes missing and they do everything they can to find out where she went. They call her house, check her files, and even show up at her door. The two of them are very suspicious and go a long way to find her. They have an amazing journey and there is a big surprise in the end. I'm not going to spoil for you because I think you should read. It is such a great book and it is very descriptive. I totally recommend it! Itis a great novel and it's very exciting. Anyone who likes mysteries wil love this book.

Soul Surfer
Soul Surfer is an amazing movie, but I never knew that it was a book. I got the book and I am completely hooked. It is a biography by Betthany Hamilton. She is a great writer and is very descriptive. I like the book so much better than the movie because Betthany does a great job describing how she felt, which I couldn't see in the movie. Although the movie doesn't show her exact emotions, it does a good job sticking to what actually happened. Most movies that are based on a book over exxagurated or add on parts that didn't actually happen. As I was reading the book, I realized that everything that happened in it was showed in the movie, and not over exaggerated. The movie had a couple added scenes, but they made sense and fit Betthany lifestyle very well.
Betthany Hamilton is an amazing surfer that lives in Hawaii. She and her best friend Alana surf together a lot. One day, zbetthany went with Alana's family to surf. Betthany was attacked by a shark, and she described the attack very descriptively in the book. The book is all about how Betthany never gives up, even though she only has one arm. She never loses faith or confidence, which is very important. Overall, this book is amazing and I recommend reading it. It is great if you like biographys and realistic stories.

Princess in Love
Princess in Love is the sequel to Pricess in the Spotlight. I have only read one chapter of it so far, and I already love it just as much as the first one! The first chapter is Mia writing in her journal about what she did on Thanksgiving. She is so descriptive and gives every piece of information. In Princess in the Spotlight Mia's mom got married to Mr. Gianini. Her mom is three months pregnant. I love how this book starts right where the last one eneded. It all makes sense, unlike some books that have a sequel that starts a whole different way. Mia's life is still very interesting and exciting. She hasn't moved to Genovia, but she will soon. Her grandmother is making her take princess lessons, and she hates it! I am excited to read on and I highly recommend this series! The series is by Meg Cabot. I think she is an amzingwiter, so descriptive! When I read her books I can see a perfect image in my head! If you like books like this, I totally think you should read it!
