I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You
I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You is a great book by Ally Carter. I got it from Mrs Tabors bookshelf and I love it. I am on about chapter 5 and I'm already attached. This book is about a teenage girl named Cammie's who goes to The Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women. This is a school for very intellegente girls with advanced talents. It is a school for spies where they learn amazing things such as martial arts and how to hack the CIA. Cammie can do many things such as speak 14 languages, but she has run into a problem. There is a boy she likes, but she doesn't know how to show it. She can't tell him who she really is, a spy. You will have to read to find out what happens! Ally Carter does a great job pulling the reader in. She is a very descriptive writer, and I feel like there is a movie in my head. This is a great and very well written book and I totally recommend it!
Sequins, Secrets, and Silver Linings
Sequins, Secrets, and Silver Linings is a book by Sophia Bennett. It is about three fabulous best friends that live in London. Nonie, the main character, is obsessed with fashion. Jenny is a starlet, she just finished filming a small role in a Hollywood movie. Edie is super smart and intellectual. The three besties meet a girl named Crow, who really surprises them. She is a fashion designer who turns the girls' world upside down. Crow surprises Nonie, Jenny, and Edie with a lot of fun things and creative ideas. They learn a lot from her while exploring new things and facing challenges.
This book is great and really entertaining. It is fun to hear about Nonie, Jenny, and Edie's stories. It is interesting how they are all so different but still best friends. Sophia Bennett does a great job of describing the characters and what is going on in the story. Overall, I think this is a great book and I totally recommend it!
