Princess in the Spotlight

Princess in the Spotlight is about a teenage girl who just found out she was the future princess of a country called Genovia. There is a movie based off of this book, called Princess Diaries. The movie makes it seem a little cheesy, but the book is actually really good. I got this book from Ms. Tabor's classroom bookshelf. I just started it and I am already attached! In this book the future princess, Mia, has a lot of crazy things happening to her. She has to get ready to be a princess, by spending a lot of time with her grandmother, the queen. Her mom is dating her algebra teacher, and to top it off, she just found out that her mom is pregnant. Mia has a lot to prepare for, and I am so excited to read on! This book is written in first person, like Mia is writing a journal about herself. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a funny story with a twist!!!

    The book sounds awesome, in used to watch those movies all the time when I was little and I loved them. So I should read this to compare, it sounds great. Thanks for the recommendation.

    This book sounds really good! I've seen both of those movies but I think the books are always better than the movies. Are there any other differences between the books and the movies? Lemme know :D

    The books are SO MUCH different than the movies. I really like the books - Mia is a funny character, and Grandmere is totally terrifying. Don't mess with her! She gets what she wants.

    There are about a billion of these books, and Mia continues to be a sweet, goodhearted person who makes some good and not so great choices - just like all of us - I'm glad that you are enjoying this book.
